Chrissy Calkins Steele became a Designated Linklater Teacher in 2012. She is currently working on certification in Eginton Alignment. Additional professional training includes the Michael Chekhov acting technique, and the Shakespeare First Folio text work. She has a B.A. in Theatre from the University of Iowa, an M.A. in Shakespeare from the Shakespeare Institute, and an MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Goddard College. She teaches voice, acting, and directs in the Department of Theatre and Dance at Principia College in Illinois.
